Getting Started
Adding Horus to Your Server
To add Horus to your Discord server, follow these simple steps:
- Click the "Add to Discord" button on our homepage
- Select the server you want to add Horus to
- Review and grant the requested permissions
- Confirm the addition
Once added, Horus will automatically start monitoring your server with default settings.
Initial Setup
After adding Horus to your server, we recommend running the setup command to configure it for your specific needs:
/setup
This will guide you through the setup process where you can configure:
- Moderation log channel
- Welcome messages
- Security level
- Auto-moderation rules
Commands
All Horus commands use Discord's slash command system. Here are the core commands:

AI Scam Detection
Horus uses advanced AI to detect and prevent scam attempts in real-time. The system identifies suspicious links, fake giveaways, phishing attempts, and other common scams.
Anti-Raid Protection
Automatically detect and prevent server raids by monitoring join patterns and user behavior. When a raid is detected, Horus can lock down the server and alert moderators.

Horus requires the following key permissions to function properly:
- View Channels - To monitor messages
- Manage Messages - To remove harmful content
- Kick/Ban Members - To remove malicious users
- Moderate Members - For timeout functionality
You can view the full permission list during the bot invitation process.
Horus maintains a cross-server reputation database that tracks user behavior. Each user starts with a neutral reputation score that changes based on their actions across all servers using Horus.
When users join your server, you can see their reputation level to help identify potential troublemakers before they cause issues. Reputation scores are affected by verified reports, moderation actions, and positive contributions.
If Horus incorrectly flags content or a user, you can report the false positive using the /report-false-positive command or by contacting our support team through our support page.
